Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-07-31T23:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-07-31T23:00:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME observed to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2 until a data gap begins at 2026-07-31T23:24Z. Also visible to the NE in GOES CCOR-1 and to the NW in STEREO A COR2 after a data gap ends at 2026-07-31T23:38Z. The source for this CME may not be clearly observed, with the only source candidate being on/near the SW limb in STEREO A EUVI, as field line movement around 2026-07-31T17:25Z in EUVI 195 and prominence brightening in EUVI 304 around 2026-07-31T18:45Z as a data gap begins. This source would be around approximately longitude W156.2 with STEREO A at W66.2, and triangulation supports approximately E166, so would be far to be the source match. This CME front was originally analyzed to an on-disk source, updated to be far-sided with more coronagraph imagery available afterwards to triangulate.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
